There are not many things cuter than kids playing with their toy tools and pretending to knock up a woodworking project or some crazy invention at their wooden workbench. 

A kids' woodworking bench is the perfect station to house tools, off-cuts of timber, and any other salvaged building materials and to let them spend hours tinkering and imagining the ways they will build their own play world. 

A workbench provides important sensory and imaginative play options for kids to build lifelong skills.

Timber Type:
We build our outdoor work benches from thermory spruce (or ‘Thermally-Modified Spruce Wood’ for permanent outdoor positioning. This is a non-toxic commercial treatment process that is used to improve wood’s material properties, including its dimensional stability and biological resistance. You can leave raw to let it grey off, or oil it to retain its rich colour.

With care, annual sanding, and oiling your workbench will look good all year round and offers good future resale value.
