One of the things that we adore about children is they love playing with mini versions of ‘grown up’ things. They are truly inspired by the world around them when it comes to imaginative play, and immerse themselves in being ‘big’ for those moments in time.
It’s one of the reasons why we designed our new Signature Modern Cubby House, which pays homage to clean mid-century modern lines. It truly speaks to the inner designer in us all!

With a generous front verandah and extended height option, our Signature Modern Cubby House boasts enough room for kids and adults alike. Features include a stunning bench seat that runs the length of the verandah, boxed style bi-fold windows inspired by open plan kitchens, and box seats sustainably made from Thermory cut offs that can be used for standing, sitting or storing treasures for play. The perspex window coverings natural light in, keeping your space bright and inviting while allowing for year-round- play.
With five sizing options, our Modern Signature Cubby is perfectly suited to both small courtyards or larger style residential blocks. No matter what your space allowance, this beautiful minimalist cubby will truly elevate your area.
Built to last
Like all our cubbies, the Signature Modern Cubby is built to last. With accents and doors made from Thermory Spruce, it’s practical and resistant on the weather front, whilst also providing a rich hardwood colouring to keep it in line with that mid-century feel. Proud owners of our new Signature Modern Cubby have the choice of raw timber or painted finish to suit their personal design preference.
Our new Signature Modern Cubby is an evolution of the first ever cubby we built for our kids over 10 years ago. As all parents can attest, there is nothing more special than watching your children grow and flourish, and for us, seeing our Signature Modern Cubby updated with premium components, accessories and roofing style, gives us those very same feels. That little vision, all grown up!
