We are acutely aware of the good fortune Castle and Cubby has working with such amazing staff, families, and businesses, since 2013 as a tiny backyard outfit to now a fully fledged operation. Over the years we have been working silently to pay it forward, donating products, money, and time, and in doing so bringing a sense of meaning to our business and life. It is time to be a bit more vocal about it and to get our clients on board so we can do more!

With so many people in need it can at times be hard to say no. So that we can focus our attention and bring joy to the children who need us the most, we have chosen to support:

Women's shelters, Indigenous children's services, and children with special needs.

But we can do more! And to do more we need your help, our Cubby Family members. Find out more about our donate back (beta) program, and read about some of the amazing charities we have had the pleasure of working with, below.

How the Donate Back Program Works

If your kids have outgrown their cubby and you LOVE the idea of donating it and giving the gift of play to others, then this is how it may unfold for you.

  1. Check that you meet our eligibility criteria below.
  2. Register your submission through the link.
  3. Answer our questions and upload images of your cubby house.
  4. We will assess your submission and be in contact with a yes or no.
  5. If yes then we will get you to choose your favourite charity from our list of charity submissions.
  6. We will organise to pickup the cubby house, refurbish it in our workshop, and deliver the product to the service or family of your choice.
  7. Your children will receive a certificate from Castle and Cubby to say they are a 'Super Donater!'.
  8. We will share the story of your donation (if you want or you can remain anonymous) and the recipients, to inspire other families.
